Testimonials

nurse and patient reading

“I am proud to say that my mom lives in the Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home and has been for seven years.  My Dad was also a resident for fourteen months.  The care of the nurses and staff are to be highly commended for their love and care they give to every resident.  They offer the support my mom and dad need to live in a situation when they had to leave their own home.  The nurses and aides gave my dad the happiest last fourteen months of his life.  He felt as if he had a new family and when your family is a resident they will receive more than physical needs but special attention and love they need to make them feel at home.  The peace that you get from having a facility as Tishomingo Manor is a true blessing.”

“My mother, Ruby, from Tishomingo, MS, has been a resident of Tishomingo Manor since May 2005.  While residing there these 8 years, she has hardly ever been sick.  She enjoys playing Bingo, and even at the age of 100, sings the Bingo song encouraging others to come play at 3:00, over the intercom when able.  I feel she has lived much longer than she would have if she not had the care of people “who care” and that have the knowledge and equipment to meet her needs.  I appreciate all the ones who helped and encouraged her to make the 100 mark.  Some workers helped so much in helping with the 100th birthday celebration we all enjoyed in February 2013.”

“I am writing this letter on behalf of my family to express appreciation to the Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home for all the attention your staff showed to our mother while she was at your facility.
The outstanding care she received during the three years she lived there and the interaction between the residents and staff was very evident as we observed many times that Mother was actually ready for our visits to end early so she could play dominoes, bingo or whatever activity was planned. Each department played such a special role in her care: Dietary, Activity, Housekeeping, Therapy, Nursing and Administration. Their professionalism and dedication, along with a very caring attitude, made not only Mother feel at “home” but eased our minds knowing we had made a great choice.”
